Many frames are manufactured using cheap plastic or low cost brittle metal hubs, riveted with poor quality pop rivets and inexpensive aluminum tubing. While most fabric panels use front runner fabric, it must be noted that the thickness of the substrate used for backing this fabric varies considerably and, therefore, allows for why some panels do not last as long as others.

The net result is premature delamination, ill fitting panels due to poor cutting, inferior hanging ability due to thinness of the panel and/or lamination process.
